Pumpkins, vases, or planters? You choose! These three easy fall floral DIY ideas can be interchanged or mixed and matched throughout the season!

Let's be real between work, kids, cleaning the house and cooking, any home DIY décor pieces need to be simple and quick but still cute and stylish. The crisp Autumn breeze naturally makes me want to add small cozy touches to our home. All three of these ideas do just that in under 30 minutes!

Cozy Tips For Your Easy Fall Floral DIY Idea

  • Check your local Michael's for a medium sized faux craft pumpkin that is not hard plastic. This one is similar to mine:
  • Home Goods or Walmart are a great place to find small indoor planters.
  • Picking a neutral base color for the pumpkins or planter allows you to easily interchange the florals.
  • Make sure you have sharp kitchen or crafting knife.
  • Test your jar or vase size against the pumpkin to make sure the jar is not taller than the pumpkin.
  • Don't worry too much about arranging the flowers, as long as they are mingled together with no real large gaps, it will look great and unique to your own style!
  • Place your easy fall floral DIY idea in your living room or on your kitchen table as an accent or a centerpiece.
  • Toss around a few mini real pumpkins and flameless candles for just the right amount of Fall coziness.

The Neutral Floral Pumpkin:

  • 1 Medium Faux Craft Pumpkin (white or another neutral color)
  • Craft knife or Serrated Knife
  • Small Mason Jar or Vase
  • White Flowers of your Choice

The first step of is to measure out a hole with a pencil or marker on top of your pumpkin that is slightly larger than your jar or vase. Once you have the hole measured you will cut around the hole. Next, you will place your jar or vase inside pumpkin and fill the jar with water. After the jar is in the pumpkin, you can arrange the flowers however you would like for your easy neutral color fall floral DYI Idea!

Colorful Harvest Pumpkin:

  • 1 Medium Faux Craft Pumpkin (white or another neutral color)
  • Craft knife or Serrated Knife
  • Small Mason Jar or Vase
  • Fall Color Flowers of your Choice

For this second easy fall floral DIY idea, you will take the same steps as the above arrangement, but we want this one to pop with all the colors of fall!

First measure and cut out a hole on top of the pumpkin that is slightly larger than your jar or vase. Next you will place the jar inside the pumpkin and fill with water. Now you can arrange your colorful fall flowers in the jar. Make sure to have a few larger flowers within the arrangement as a focal point. And that's it!

The Autumn Planter:

  • 1 Medium Size Planter (white or another neutral color)
  • Fall Color Flowers of your Choice. Check out this option or this one!

Of all of the easy Fall floral DIY ideas, this may be the most simple and quickest of them all! Just pick out a cute medium size planter and a handful of faux florals of your choice (Michael's is a great spot for faux florals). Then arrange the florals in the planter. It doesn't matter how the florals are arranged as long as it looks full with no large gaps. The best part is you can make the florals as wild or tame as you would like, it's all to your own style. Now you will have a easy and cute fall floral arrangement that took 10 minutes that will last you all season long!
