A simple and natural lash boost serum for eye lashes and eyebrows using two ingredients of lavender essential oil and castor oil!

This easy all natural lash boost serum DIY soon became a staple in my skin care routine. It uses just two ingredients of lavender essential oil and castor oil. Both aid in the growth of hair and lashes. I use this consistently each night on my eye brows and feel good about an effective and affordable alternative to the products off the shelf.

A dap of this, a dribble of that and my skin care routine resulted in half used bottles and tubs of creams and cleansers. It was not until I did some research on what was in those half used products that never really produced the promised results that I began to search for alternatives. A simple and natural method was my goal.

Cozy Tips for Lash Boost Serum DIY

  • An empty mascara tube works the best with a funnel to pour in the castor oil.
  • You can find labels on Esty, such as these to place on the tubes or leave them unlabeled.
  • Use your serum at night on your eyebrows or eye lashes.
  • Build a natural skincare routine with this lash boost serum DIY and a natural glow serum!

Supplies for Lash Boost Serum DIY

  • Castor Oil
  • Lavender Essential Oil
  • 10 ML Mascara Tube

What Essential Oils To Use

Lavender is the first choice for an essential oil to use in this serum. It is the most gentle of oils and effective, plus it smells great. You can also use a cedarwood essential oil or rosemary essential oil. For a 10 ml mascara tube you will want to use just 10 drops of the essential oil.

How To Use Lash Boost Serum

You can use this lash boost serum on either your eyebrows or you eye lashes. I tend to play it safe and use separate tubes for my eyebrows and eye lashes. Using the serum at night is the best so that you can use make up on if you choose during the day.

The Cozy Details

Step 1: Open the empty mascara tube and place 10 drops of lavender essential oil.

Step 2: Add the castor oil to the mascara about ¾ of the way to the top of the tube.

Step 3: Place the filter in the tube and close with the wand. Gentle shake and it's ready to use.

Once you start to use natural skin care, you won't turn back. Now all you have to do is decide what other skin care products you want to swap for natural alternatives!
