Petals and soft floral scents always remind me of soft Spring sunlight. Maybe that is just in my memory, but every now and then I can recreate that calming feeling with a simple DIY Bath Soak. This bath soak uses Epsom salts and essential oils, toss in a few rose petals and you have a special gift for a friend or yourself that is relaxing and all natural!

Cozy Tips for DIY Bath Soak

  • You can use any essential oils you would like for your bath soak. Below are more options.
  • Use dried rose petals, lavender, or any dried flowers for an extra bit of fun!
  • Place the bath salts in a jar and give as a gift to a friend or loved one with a few chocolates and a bottle of wine or mug filled with their favorite tea bags.

What Essential Oils To Use?

While you can use any essential oils you would like for your bath soak there are a few favorites. Lavender is easy one that can be used alone or paired with another oil. Ylang Ylang is another oil that smells great alone or together with Lavender. Geranium can used in a bath soak, which has a floral scent. Pair any of these oils with Orange and it becomes uplifting or keep it together with Lavender or Valor for a calming and relaxing soak. Any floral and citrus scent will work great with a bath soak to ease tired muscles and minds.

The Cozy Details

Step 1: Gather all of the ingredients. There are no set measurements to this process. I will usually measure out my Epsom salts based on how much will fit in the jar that I am using.

Step 2: Place the Epsom salts in a bowl and add about 5-10 drops of essential oil. Stir to combine.
