- When making a foaming hand soap, less soap and more water is key.
- You can use any essential oils you would like to create a beautiful scent.
- Adding a little vitamin E oil to the soap will provide a nice moisturizing effect.

- If you can make a few batches on jars so that you have a small supply on hand for a couple of months.

What Oils To Use For Hand Soap
When making a hand soap, you can use pretty much any essential oil or blend of essential oils you would prefer. Lavender is the default oil as it is calming and light. You can pair lavender with a orange or lemon essential oil for bright and fun soap. For a more homey, spicy scent you can use Thieves essential oil. These few oils are a great starting point.
Below are a couple of essential oils blends that work well for hand soaps. Use about 10 drops total and any combination.
Spring: Lavender and Lemon, Lavender and Lime and Geranium
Summer: Lavender and Orange, Luchious Lemon
Fall: Lavender and Thieves, Pine and Orange and Cinnamon, Thieves and Orange
Winter: Lavender and Northern Lights Black Spruce, Lemon and Rosemary and Lavender

Add about ¼ teaspoon of vitamin E oil and 10 drops of essential oils. Finally, you will top the soap dispenser with water and add the cap. Gently swirl around the ingredients.
I always test the soap dispenser at this point to make sure that the dispenser is working properly with my soap.
