These 3 DIY natural cleaners will clean almost all surfaces in your home using non toxic and simple ingredients.

Handprints, stains, crumbs, sticky messes, and even crayons strikes. These are just a few of the things I have to clean in my home on a daily basis. I never loved the scent of strong chemical based cleaners you find in the strong. At times they are necessary, but most of the time they are not. So I decided to look into a natural alternative for cleaning my home. Plus now that I have tiny hands touching everything, a non toxic solution was required.

These are 3 DIY natural cleaners I use on a regular basis in my home. The first is a simple all purpose cleaning spray, the second is a glass or window spray and the third is a soft scrub. Once you see how simple these natural cleaners are, you won't want to go back to using store bought cleaners again. And why not? The natural cleaners are easy and quick to make at a fraction of the cost you but at the store!

Cozy Tips for 3 DIY Natural Cleaners

    • Purchase the supplies to make the cleaners in bulk. This will save you time and money. Plus it's always nice to have a few extra on hand when you need them.
    • You can find cute labels for your cleaning spray bottles such as mine on Etsy or you can make your own.
    • Place your cleaning supplies together in a basket or a bin so that they are easy to find and all together in one spot.
    • For the small jars, you can purchase a new jar or just simply use an old jam or jelly jar.

    The Cozy Details

Below are the simple instructions for each of the natural cleaners. Most of the instructions are just simply steps as quantity of ingredients will depend upon the size of you spray bottles or your jars.

    1: Thieves All Purpose Cleaner

This all purpose cleaner is the number one cleaner that is used each day in my home. It can be use on any surface from counters to floors, to wood tables, windows, mirrors and even fabric or furniture.

To make the Thieves All Purpose cleaner you will need:

    • 16 oz Amber Spray Bottle
    • Water
    • 1-2 Cap Full of Thieves All Purpose Cleaner

Place the water into the spray bottle and then add the cap full of the Thieves cleaner. Add the spray nozzle and gently shake. Then it is ready to use for big or small messes!

    2: Natural Window Cleaner

While you can certainly use the Thieves All Purpose cleaner on your windows and mirrors, sometimes is it nice to have a little extra spray that is just for windows and mirrors. For this, I use my simple and natural window cleaner.

To make this spray you will need the following:

    • 16 oz. Amber Spray Bottle
    • Water
    • ¼ Cup Vinegar
    • 10 Drops Lemon and/or Orange Essential Oil

Combine the vinegar, water, and essential oil into the spray bottle. Add the spray nozzle and gently shake. Now you can spray it on your windows and mirrors for a natural streak free shine!

    3: Natural Soft Scrub

This last cleaner never fails to amaze me. It is so simple that it seems impossible to be so effective, but it is! I use this natural soft scrub cleaner on any surface that needs extra deep cleaning or scrubbing. My favorite spot to use it is in the sink. Take a look at the before and after pictures below!
