What Milk To Use For Hot Chocolate?
I have found that whole milk steams and frothes the best for hot chocolate, however I do prefer the tastes and froth of heavy cream as ad addition to the hot chocolate. This adds a thickness and creaminess to the drink. While the consistency of dairy creamers helps to make the hot chocolate full bodied, almond milk and oat milk are great milk alternatives for a wonderful hot chocolate too!
Why Use Unsweetened Cocoa Powder?
Using unsweetened cocoa powder create a more intense chocolate flavor while allowing you to control the level of sweetness of your hot chocolate.
